2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing
We process personal data on the VIOSOY landing page exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the BDSG.
The processing is carried out on the basis of:
Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR – Consent (e.g., optional checkbox in the contact form, cookies, reCAPTCHA)
Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR – Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g., handling contact requests)
Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR – Legitimate interest (e.g., technical security, spam protection)
3. Collection and Storage of Personal Data When Visiting the Website
When visiting our website, the server automatically collects so-called log files:
IP address
Date and time of access
Browser used and operating system
Referrer URL
These data are used exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and are automatically deleted after 7 days.
4. Contact Form
On our landing page we use a contact form (WPForms). We collect the following information:
Name
Company name
E-mail address
Message
In addition, an optional checkbox can be activated („Please send me more information about your VIOGERM products“).
Legal basis: Processing for handling the request pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.
If the checkbox is activated, processing is additionally based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
The data are not stored in the database, but are transmitted exclusively by e-mail to us and processed locally (no external newsletter service, no automatic disclosure to third parties).
5. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect against spam and abuse, Google reCAPTCHA is used.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
In this process, the IP address and other data required for the service may be transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: Consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR via the cookie/consent banner, as well as our legitimate interest in security pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

6. Hosting
Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
IONOS stores personal data (e.g., log files) on servers within the European Union.
We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with IONOS.
7. Integration of Third-Party Content
Our website does not embed external content such as videos, maps, or social media plugins.
Only the following external services are used:
Google Fonts (for displaying fonts)
Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection for the contact form)
Beyond that, no other external script libraries or content delivery networks (CDNs) are used.
8. Cookie Consent Management
We use the plugin Complianz (Complianz B.V., Kalmarweg 14-5, 9723 JG Groningen, Netherlands) to manage user consent to the storage of certain cookies or the use of tools in compliance with data protection regulations.
Complianz stores a consent ID and the time of consent in the visitor’s browser.
This data is processed exclusively locally and is not transmitted to Complianz B.V.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR (legal obligation to manage consents).
9. Storage Period and Deletion
Server log files: Stored by our hosting provider IONOS and automatically deleted after 7 days.
Contact form: Personal data from contact requests are stored solely for processing and deleted once the purpose ceases to apply or statutory retention periods expire.
Consent data (Complianz): The consent given for the use of cookies is stored for 1 year. After that, a new request for consent is made.
10. Disclosure of Data
Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if:
you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR),
this is required for the performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR), or
we are legally obliged to do so (Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR).
